Early Life in Mexico & the USA

After a few years in Russia (now the Ukraine), Clara moved to Mexico City & then Monterrey, Mexico before Sid went to Mexico City and brought his bride to Chicago. Clara did not like the weather in Chicago, so Sid and her drove to beautiful Huntington Park CA, where they lived in an apartment for about 4 years next to sister Vivian, her husband Joe and daughters Linda and Sharyn. Dorita and her husband Al Kaufman's lived in the Valley after a short time near the Fairfax district of LA. Clara's parents Usher & Gitel were also key components in Clara's life.
